NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022, an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That's a 13% growth over 2019. Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to see an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated. The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking figures of tourist entry every month. It's a fantastic positive shift that we are happy to see and we expect an upward trend for years to follow.
